Goldenrod, you set yourself up for some lame joke about being an Obsessive Tool, or some such nonsense. But, I wouldn't pull that one on you, because you're too nice a fellow!

These are just forms of hobbying. No harm done, and actually much more useful than collecting somethingn like Depression Era Glassware!

Oil, expensive, na, you just know how to look for sales.
I have 60+ qts of oil, 1/2 is Mobil 1, GC, and PP, average price for all my oil, less than $1/qt (40 free qts from Valvoline help bring that average down, but still, the Mobil 1 EP was on sale at Target for $1.22, the PP was on sale at Pep Boys for less than $1/qt, and the GC was $4/qt).

I think I going to build huge underground gas tank right on my backyard. Ten year from now prices can jump up to $20per/gal. What do ya think?

Titan,

You're comparing my $50K Snap-on collection to Depression Era Glassware?

Maybe it's beause Snap-on Tool Co was founded in the year 1920 right?

My current inventory is at an all time low, with only 69,212 gallons, with about 11,000 on order. As the cost of inventory goes up, the quantity has to come down, or the investmente has to go up.
