Oil injection pump issue. Polaris XLT snowmobile

1995 Polaris XLT snowmobile. the lever on the pump is sticking - which is causing issues with the throttle cables. how to fix? or how to source other than used? I know, I could pre-mix, but I'd prefer to fix it correctly

A quick google shows a slew of XLT oil pumps on Fleabay for ~$20. Also a lot of sledding forums full of experts with comments about check balls tank filter and proper bleeding after service. If it is sticking I would guess a spring has gone weak or gunk buildup inside. Remove it and clean using seafoam or the like.
