No Kidding! You need to wipe them out when you use them anyway. It's not like your going to drink it. Think easy, not hard.

Agree with Traction! Why needlessly make simple complicated?

I use the smallest funnel from a plastic 4-for-$1 nested set for any new oil (with a hose attached for ATF), and wipe it clean afterward. For any used oil, a cut-off 1-quart Exxon 10W-40 bottle from long ago.

Different funnels for different fluids for me.

But usually I can get away with not using funnels at all for topping up coolants and such. In those cases I just re-use a separate plastic cup.

For filling the radiator I have its own funnel (Lisle Spill-Free Funnel).

I generally get OCD about mixing fluids with funnels even though I clean them after every use. Seperate funnel for coolant, ATF, engine oil. The ATF funnel is of course skinny and tall for the AT fill hole being located way down below the engine bay.
