Oil for my new dart

You're splitting hairs here. That engine probably uses 5w-40 overseas. What's multiair? If its some kind of variable valve timing, then you're good to go with a 30 grade.

FWIW, my Sonata specs 5w20, but I've used all of the major brands in various grades including 0w,10w30. I haven't noticed a change in performance or MPG. That being said, Valvoline MaxLife has worked the best with my little consumption issue.

From new on factory fill, Valvoline Synpower 0w20, Pennzoil 5w30, and I even got angry enough to drain half and refill with 15w40 HDEO. No change, a quart every 4k no matter what is in the sump. FIAT: Fill It Again Tony. Maybe Failing In Advanced Tribology.

None of the fiat engines burn measurable amounts of oil, but the 2.4 isn't a fiat.

the 1.4 multi air uses 5w40 in Europe, the MA-unit doesn't care.

It does here too, but his is a 2.4

Many Audi and VW tfsi and fsi valve train engines have some burn issues. I've heard of several guys minimizing oil consumption on Audi and VW 2.0 tsi and tfsi engines with Ravenol. It might be a little more costly than the popular oils. Could try it for 1 oil change and see what is does. It might work well with that fancy fiat valve train?

I was running shell 15-40, 5w-40 and then mobil 1 15w-50 in my 93 Audi S4 and was experiencing about 1 quart of burn in 3,000 miles and a lot of lifter noise. I tried Ravenol Racing Rally Synthetic 5w-50 and have minimal to no burn in 3,000 miles now and way less valve train noise when driven hard. For what its worth.....
