Oil for 2000 BMW Z3 2.3 engine

I prefer an oil I can get at walmart. What do you think about Mobil 1 High Mileage 10/30? Sure be nice to use the same oil that I use in my truck. Or should I think about a little heavier oil for use in the deep south? Thanks

Mobil 1 0w-40 is the right oil for your car, available at most walmarts, too.

But Mobil 1 High Mileage 10w30 should work fine as well.

It is typical European engine, which means heavier oil. Go with Mobil 1 0W40
You can also use Shell Rotella T6 5W40 with no issues. That is 90's engine and those European engines from that period LOVE heavy oil!
