Oil Filter Cup Size, Mann W917

Googling that specific filter, appears to have no flutes on the end/dome, so fitted cap wrench a no go. Using specs on Amazon, it shows 3.66" wide, OD. So, you'll need a wrench that opens that wide. Any strap or claw type with that opening in range will work. The Lisle 63250 cam action 'wide range' filter wrench should work. I own the smaller import version, works well.

Looking at this ebay listing, there are flutes. But I could believe the design changed because images at IPD USA (I'm not familiar) appear smooth.

If true, OP may have either design depending upon age

Finding a oil filter cap wrench for some of the European brand filters can be frustrating. I recently bought a Hengst H14W32 oil filter that crosses over to a lot of the FRAM PH3614 applications, but this Hengst H14W32 filter is slightly bigger (77MM) and has 8 flutes on the dome end. Finding a oil filter cap wrench for that is next to impossible.

Thanks! I searched up and down Amazon for that. My search foo needs improvement.

Thanks again! :)
I ordered one just because I don't have one. And now this ensures I'll never need it. But I figured if Hootbro is ever driving around my area and randomly needs an oil change, I better be ready.....
