Oil fill 2005 Toyota 4.7L 130k

Took this today. This is the best photo I could get with my phone. Previous owner whom was the original had oil changes done every 5k. Don't know what oil was used (Toyota Dealership).

Mine looks darker, same 5k Toyota dealership oil change regimen. Now using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 10W-30, aiming to change oil at 3k miles. Fill hole looks mildly cleaner.

I'm sure that Ultra will clean whatever slight varnish you have. Do you know what particular oil the dealership used?

Shouldn't your 05' Toyota 4Runner V-8.....spec 5w30 oil?.....or has it been back-speed to a 20 weight ???

Was back speck'd for 5w20.

Toyota 5w-30 bulk oil whichever they use. Might be Toyota bulk or another cheap bulk oil they have got. Mine is a Scion xb.
