This is my first posting, please bear with me. A big thanks to Patman and other contributors that helped me overcome my oil consumption problem, one liter to 800 - 1,000 miles since the vehicle was new. I switched to 4 litres of Mobil 1 5-30 and liter 15-50. Consumption is now normal. I was in Calgary last week and found Mobil 1 0-40 for $8.00 a liter and Castrol Belgium 5-40 for $11.20 a liter. A few days ago I was in NAPA in St. Albert and they have Belgium Castrol for $7.60 a litre. The Walmart store in St. Albert continously carries the GC 0-30. This is a very informative site, thanks to all.
