Hi, As I'm looking for installing a custom AFe air filter on the Suzuki Vitara 1.0T, I noticed that the PCV circuit have a small pipe running from the head cover to the intake manifold, through what I think is a check valve. Pic : [Linked Image] Is there some catch can you would recommend (I even saw someone here running a air-water separator as seen on air compressors as a catch can) ?

The hose you have pictured appears to be the fresh air in to the valve cover, not the PCV out of the valve cover to the intake manifold. In other words rhis is the tube that allows air into the engine, not the tube that extracts fumes from the engine.

Why would it be the fresh air crankcase supply, that is usually placed lower than the valve cover ? What I found when I looked for OCC kits : [Linked Image from i.servimg.com] [Linked Image from i.servimg.com]
