OIL ANALYSIS RESULTS================================================================================ELEMENTAL ANALYSIS (ppm)--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2025 Rav4 Non-Hybrid
Oil Analyzed: Amsoil SS 0W30 4 Qts & Amsoil SS 0W20 1 Qt. Both mixed at 4:1.
The oil has 1,433 miles on it, and it was put in at 10,697 miles, while the filter was changed with a Toyota filter. The oil used prior to this was TGMO 0W20, so .5 qts of residual is probably in the mix. Rav4 sees 7-11 short trips per day, each averaging 3.3 miles. My intent for analyzing at such a low mileage was to check if any anomalies would show from using what is approximately a 0W28 with the viscosities combined.

The vis is at the high end for a 20 grade.
The wear is as we would expect for such a short OCI.
With around 11k vehicle miles, it's still probably breaking in a bit (you don't mention how many OCIs it's had).

LAB COMMENTS
All results are within normal ranges

It had a total of six oil changes before the very first sample listed above that started the thread. Then, for the two oil samples that I listed after, it had four, then five.
I know, that's a lot of oil changes.
I was going to just share the latest one since it addresses a thicker viscosity than the "required" 0W16, but later I decided to include two prior samples that I had taken just for the sake of posting. Maybe somebody can use the information?
