So my wife just took her Forester in for the first service because it was free. We got one of the new plain blue filters which I believe is an AC Delco and they used 0w20 Magnatec, or at least that’s what’s on the invoice. I thought it was discontinued but maybe they can still get it in bulk or something. I highly doubt they followed the TSB, but I have no proof either way other than the oil change took a while. Vehicle under warranty for another 150k km so I am not worried about it either way.
