The Porsche Car Configurator gives the buyer of a Taycan Turbo S, the option of either All Season or Summer tires. You are going to be hard pressed to find all season tires with higher than an H speed rating. Hankook offers the Ion Evo, that is an All Season Y rated tire. But looking at the tread, there is no way I would trust it in snow/ice conditions.
All the Summer tires I can find, that fit the Taycan Turbo S, are Y rated.
Having owned a Mercedes SL550, it is not incomprehensible at all, for me at least, that someone may choose a set of performance A/S, over a set of Summer tires, and having to garage the car when the weather turns cold. I personally chose to go with two sets of wheels, a set of Bridgestone S-04 Pole Position summer tires, and a set of Dunlop WinterSport winter rated tires on a second set of wheels.
But I totally understand why some may not want to go that way, and want A/S tires. My SL550 was factory speed restricted to 165 mph, but I never drove it over 135. I probably could have driven on a set of H rated tires and been fine.
