Would you give us the entire number? The piece you gave us does not sound familiar but I'd like to see the whole thing. TNX

I am wondering why there is no interest yet in this possibly re-formulated oil. I read UOA, VOA info on old Syntec, pretty sad. The jug ACEA A5 oil is heavier then M1 30, that is for sure. Esters mentioned on website...interesting. Should I be the test bed, I can run 10w-30 in my woman's I-5 Audi for 5000 miles and do an analysis...or is a VOA more desirable???

TSoA,

Obviously, for a complete picture both a VOA (for insight into formulation and to give an accurate starting picture) and UOA (to see how well it actually performs) are desirable, if you are willing to do both.

I'm sorry, but coming from an oil junkie, it's just plain cool to see green instead of brown!

Funny thing is, I bet if you posted that at a non-oil related automotive site, they would tell you to go to a mechanic ASAP because of massive-antifreeze contamination!
