Not political...Printing money and inflation...

I understand that printing money can cause inflation, but just one quick question.

How does that printed money get into the markets? Does the fed just print it and give it away? Who gets it? How do they get it?

I don't need an in-depth answer, just something for a simple commoner...

I don't have an answer as to how it gets distributed but I DO know that it makes the US dollar rate go down.... At one time we were close to the top... look now.
