Just had a VOA done. Of particular interest were the CA, PH and ZN numbers and their variance from norm. The sample came from a bottle of R-T 15W40, dated June of 2007.
My question is whether this variance would fall under the classification of "Production Tolerances" or not. I'm not dismissing the possibility that the lab botched the tests, but, unfortunately, I have no more oil from that batch for a retest. When talking PPM, I guess this is nit picking... but them I AM a BITOGer and that's what we do!
My Numbers:
CA- 2015
PH- 885
ZN- 979
Blackstone's Universal Averages
CA- 2403
PH- 972
ZN- 1133
Deeter16317's UOA results:
CA 2061 to 2344
PH 873 to 989
ZN 1064 to 1269
