There are several credible people talking right now. Dr. Gallaudet is another one to pay attention to. This is a topic that demands serious attention and warrants open-minded, courageous, and discerning follow-up.
This kind of hype is something brought up when distractions are required to divert attention from other things going on. It's a tool that been used in the past and now, and will be used again and again, because it works to some extent.
When you see this kind of hype, it's time to look at what's going on with other things and totally ignore this fake garbage.

93 billion lights years in the universe and an uncountable number of planetary systems, non-humans have not only found Earth, but also had the means to travel here and were able to share their knowledge?

Retirees on Earth have learned that with some minor credentials, they can start a consulting company and get paid for speaking engagements to people who want so hard to believe?

I’m open minded. Close minded would believe only one way. Again open minded to any and all evidence. Not seen it yet.

You can choose to believe fairy tales under the science fiction banner or you could use some basic logic and laws of physics.
It doesn’t matter how many millions or billions of other planets are out there with possible life on them, they are all facing the same problem:
1. Even the speed of light is too slow to travel within one galaxy, never mind the universe.
2. It’s a statistical impossibility to find and target a specific planet in the vastness of the universe. The odds are probably similar as finding a specific atom in your body.
Closed mindedness is not in believing one way when the evidence leads that way. Closed mindedness is not believing where evidence leads. There can be dozens of apparent ways but only one way in the end when the truth is known.

There's no way that visits by space aliens would stay a secret for very long. This is assuming the aliens even wanted to hide themselves from the general public. It would be their choice after all. Any government is terrible at keeping stuff secret. And no major scientific discovery has ever been kept secret.

Sure basically what I meant is indeed ignoring evidence that leads to a correct and true conclusion using undoubted facts. My point is I am open to this but have not seen this. I read and see claims.
I have seen some very interesting pictures and videos of things that don’t seem man made but that does mean it’s aliens.
I just don’t see how we can be alone in this vast Universe. Have we been visited or observed? I don’t think I have seen enough to make me believe it just yet, but I’m interested in the subject.
Let’s just hope that one evening, while we’re gazing at the moon, we don’t realize that, “That’s no moon.”

Something is real. What exactly it is is unknown. Dismissals of that particular fact, at this point, are mostly the result of bias and ignorance of the information which has recently officially come out.
Science goes through periodic, painful inflections where common consensus and dogma must be pierced. This may or may not be one of them. We shall see.
