Non-energy conserving 5w/0w-20

Is there any non-energy-conserving oil that is 5w-20 or 0w-20? Only one i can find is Redline oils.

Something like Rotella or other HDEOs, or even a euro spec is good.

I doubt it. The whole point of 20wt oils is fuel efficiency in general anyway. Not saying that it's worse than 30wt oils, but I doubt there are any non EC 20wt oils.

Ugh im just still under the debate on whether i wana switch my Accord to a 30 grade for autocross. Redline looks great, but its double the price of the Pennzoil Ultra i use. Just a noob thought: maybe use Pennzoil Ultra 10w30 during summer and spec'd Pennzoil Ultra 5w-20 in winter? The thought of the new Mustang oil grades sparked this thought. The GT is spec'd for 5w20, but the track pack gets 5w50. No difference in anything, just expected usage. Thoughts?

Perhaps one of the HM 5w-20s like Maxlife, Castrol High Mileage, or Pennzoil High Mileage. Why not just use Pennzoil 5w30 Platinum or Ultra for track days?

This is my thoughts. Im planning on doing a road course event this summer, and ill prob use a 40 grade for it. Mobil 1 0w-40 is pretty cheap at walmart. I think for general autocross/drag racing i do frequently in the summer ill use 10w30 Pennzoil Ultra. Higher HTHS that 5w30 (3.3 vs 3.1). OR could i use GC 0w-30? I like the high HTHS, but idk if the thicker 30 grade would be better for the engine under normal usage for summer.

Thinking of running Pennzoil Platinum 0w20 next winter as well.

Also what are some thoughts on Mobil 1 10w30 High Mileage? It has a high HTHS of 3.5 and is readily available at walmart. My cars engine is very clean, it does not leak or burn oil. If i run this High Mileage oil, can i switch back to regular non-High Mileage oil?

Valvoline MaxLife has changed their formula, and are now resource conserving.

Castrol GTX HM last I saw was not resource conserving. M1 high mileage is non-resource conserving as well, but is also SL.

I believe G-Oil is non-resource conserving and SN, which is the only synthetic with that spec that can be regularly purchased as far as I can tell.

Most 20 grades in high mileage oil were not energy- or resource-conserving, but this appears to be changing. If you are specifically looking for a 20 grade that is not energy- or resource-conserving, and may still be readily available, look at the various high mileage flavors.
