No VIs in a Group IV, PAO syn?

Is it true that a Group IV, PAO synthetic such as Mobil 1 does NOT contain any VIs?

Also, why is Mobil 1 10w30 more shear stable than Mobil 1 5w30?

Aren't 10w30 oils in general more shear stable because of the lesser range, meaning fewer VIs?

When comparing Mobil 1 10w30 and Mobil 1 5w30, if Mobil 1 10w30 is more shear stable, what is giving Mobil 1 10w30 its advantage?

PAO oils will have LESS vis than the other groups, not necessarily none.

Mobil 1 10w30 allegedly has none, making it more shear stable than the 5w30 which needs some to get the gradings.

1) Only if on a tight range like a 10w30 (or if a lot of innate VI a 10w-40 is possible (as w/ redline a group 5)
2)Mobil 1 10w30= no VII, 5w30 some VII
3)Yes
4) No VII's

One thing to keep in mind is alot of esters used as carriers and AW additives also have a role as VIs. Some of these oils may not contain the VIs as we conventioanlly imagine them but the additives themselves can serve this fucnction if the base oil is of a high enough quality to cover the Viscosity ratings with little help.
