For the Focus Zetec and Liberty diesel that call for a filter with an anti-siphon valve (basically a backwards ADBV), M1 no longer offers the M1-211. They discontinued it when switching over to the AP filters with the A at the end of the part number.

Crosses to Wix 51315 and Fram 8316 (no Ultra XG8316), and the old FL-2005 (no longer made, since Purolator stopped making them)

So the only extended-drain filter still available for the Zetec is the Wix 51315XP (Napa Platinum 41315)

That said, a regular Wix/Napa Gold and the Fram TG should be able to handle a year/10k OCI with no problem. There's also the Mann W719/27 if you can get it.

I have some Motorcraft FL-2005s and M1-211's left from my ZX-2 with the Zetec.
I'm wondering if I could run them in my Focus or Escape with the MZR? I'd like to know if anybody has done this?
I know the treads match although the bypass is slightly higher in some versions (10-12 vs. 14)

I ran one on my 18HP B&S Intek (which I had previously ran PH3614s on) and had no problems...

They FL2005 hasn't been made in at least 10 years, so don't use them! Cut one of them open, then throw the rest away

How old are your M1-211's? I had one from 2008 from Rock Auto clearance, and the media felt brittle and not safe to use at all. There is a 2013-production 211 on eBay right now. I wonder when Champ stopped making Zetec-specific filters with the anti-siphon valve. I think Fram still makes the PH/TG 8316 (I've seen a 2015-production TG8316)

The only filters I'd use for the Zetec are:
Wix 51315/Napa Gold 1315
Wix XP 51315XP/Napa Platinum 41315
Hastings LF483 (and the Baldwin equivalent)
Mann W719/27
Fram TG8316

For short OCI's, the PH8316 and cheap Wixes are good, too (Microgard, Napa Silver and Proselect, Pro-Tec)

This is an application worth going 2 years or 15k or something really long between OCI's on a Wix XP since recent-production Zetec filters can be hard to obtain. Pair with M1 EP, Edge Gold, or PUP.

I can confirm that Wix still makes them, as I have a 2017-production 51315

I have cut open an FL2005 that was made in 2007 and it felt fine.
I have cut open one after running it 6K and it looked fine.
I have done UOAs on oil which was run with a 10 year old filter and it looked fine.
I have done a UOA after running 17 year old oil and it looked fine.

If an oil filter is stored properly (indoors in non extreme temperatures or humidity) I can't see paper or cellulose degrading very much.
