Looking down one of the intake ports on the 4.7 Toyota I put a starter in. Nothing on those valves. We only have 2 fuel suppliers in my area and both are top tier.
No carbon here.

Oh boy I wonder what my 30 year old Peugeot which I drive like an old nanny will look like after I take the valve cover off one day.

Well, you pay enough for your fuel. It'd be a shame if it left deposits.
