NO Aspirin at my local WalMart in Kansas City

Went to WalMart Monday. There was not a single bottle of Aspirin. What's going on.

Yes the shelves in the pain relief section were full except where Aspirin was supposed to be.

Odd. There's no "shortage" in this area other than there are fewer choices brand wise. 81mg are hit and miss while St. Joseph's brand haven't been on local shelves for several years. I just order big bottles of generic 81mg on Amazon. Cheaper anyway.
Maybe they're stocking less because healthcare people push Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen as better. They've been stressing for decades now that Aspirin can cause Reye's Syndrome in kids and ulcers in adults.

Walmart's inventory control is horrible. It will take sometimes weeks (regardless of what it is) to replenish stock sometimes. Its been this way forever-IMHO.

Also automated reordering stock. It will lag behind when there is a blip in demand and the algorithms may be partially based on store size and location rather than real time sales trends.
There is a shortage in the UK because of some new regulation they came up with to control the economy.

The WalMart near my house, WalMart (store #3720 Arbutus Supercenter) is often poorly stocked. It's always been that way. It's close to Baltimore City (which no longer has a WalMart) so it's always very busy and has long lines. If it wasn't so close to my house I would never go there.

Wow! I haven't been in Arbutus in a good 35 years. It was a "nothing here" town back then. We did go to Lotte near there. They've probably got your aspirin, but the label is in Hangul.

I often find WalMart is out of something that I know they carry. I chalk it up to poor management of inventory. It's somewhat inexcusable in this day of electronic tabulation and tracking of stock.

We've got many small, local, independent pharmacies as well as all the chains. Just need to do a map search on your browser for a store near you. Even convenience stores have aspirin, just overpriced and sometimes behind the counter with the condoms.

No, it's not. Come to the Walmart local to me - they have (I counted) (32) variations on the shelf. It's shelf G8, for what it's worth, to help you find them.
