This was off a 2014 Frontier with the QR25DE I4. Dealer bulk Havoline 5W-30. It was removed at the 52K mark.

I drive a nissan frontier with the same engine for my work everyday. Not the most powerful motor, but an honest one. Very easy on oil and other components. No wonder so many fleets use them.

They’re pretty easy to work on for the most part as well - the platform hasn’t changed too much since 2005.

one PITA are the spark plugs on those - the combo air box/manifold has to be removed to access 3 out of the 4 plugs.

'What I can see' of this filter looks ok. That said, if this is the Gonher made Nissan OF (looks to be), I discovered this same application have an adbv defect posted and described in this thread.

As noted there it was not the only Nissan Gonher anecdote posted this sub forum to have this issue. Not possible to tell if topic filter has same but it's certainly possible. In short, I won't be purchasing topic filter in the future.
