Nissan 75w-85 GL-4?

I've been trying to find any info online about the specific viscosity of this fluid, especially at 100C. Does anyone here know? Is 85 weight gear oil roughly about 30 weight motor oil? Oh, and is it synthetic, blend, or conventional? Thanks!

I would guess it's around 12 cSt.

It shouldnt really matter as you will be replacing it with 75w85 GL-4 but the above chart is fairly good .. if hard to read.

I don't remember seeing the word synthetic on the bottle. MSDS is typically vague. VOA it for info. Not a bad fluid for most manual transmissions that require an 85 or 90 grade. HyundaiKia/Mitsu and the domestics also stock a 75w85. Redline MT85 is a good choice. SAE J306 for gear oil grade info.
