Is that a good or bad thing?
No wonder my Honda stock hasn't done well in the year-plus I've owned it!!!
Is it good or bad? Bad for perception of a quality product. Good for perception of "taking care of customers for free" vs. "it's cheaper to pay the lawsuits if people get hurt" mentality. Beauty is in the eye of the person with the agenda.
They also sell a ton of cars. What percentage were recalled? Everyone has up and down years.
I don't see this as a negative at all.
They do sell a ton of vehicles, and I see this as diligent cautious concern for customers and their business.
What matters is they fix the problems associated with the recalls quickly and efficiently to make their customers happy.
Everyone makes mistakes, what matters is how you correct them.
