NFL --- AFC and NFC title games leading to the SUPER BOWL!!!!

That last out of bounds penalty killed Cincy’s chances. It changed a 55 yard field goal attempt into a 40 yard attempt. Anybody but the Eagles…..Go Chiefs! 🏈

looks like they really wanted the Chiefs in Superbowl. Calls were unreal.

SF chokes.

Really? Third and fourth string QBs are taken out, and the only thing left is ONLY a running game, and that is a choke? Choking is when you have all hands on deck, and lose because you can't function as a team, or make mental errors. They held their own darn well considering lack of ANY air game.

As John Madden would say, the Chiefs got a 3rd and 9 “do over”! Mahomes was eventually sacked on the “do over” but still the officiating looked suspiciously one sided and the game was poorly called.

The NFL did similar in SuperBowl wins they arranged for a couple of teams recently. You build a new stadium the league rewards you some way some how. The NFL had hands in some of Tom Terrific's amazing number of trips to the SuperBowls. They protected him like no one else. The NFL also by a simple oversight (they said) allowed an entire team of California based refs to be sent to the other side of the continent at the Divisonal Championship game - Saints / Rams strange no flags game? They almost instantly during and after gave the droll answer = OOPs! Yeah flag shoulda been thrown but ... Game over , no recourse except we are very sorry.

That call was legit.

I mean the repeat the 3rd down call

It was a odd call to be sure...but they did reply on TV that there was the (apologize, because I don't know the position names of the refs) back judge(?) that came running in well before the ball was snapped whistling the play dead. I understand the frustration, especially given the crowd noise, but if even one player on either side had heard it, they were relaxed, and not expecting a play. It was visually confirmed a dead play before the snap, so while it was odd and unusual, it was not incorrect.

While we’re on the subject….the Eagles Devonta Smiths one handed catch in the first quarter that setup the Eagles first touchdown looked good from the camera angle shown on TV, but after the Eagles scored two plays later another angle showed the ball clearly rolled out of Smiths hand and touched the ground and should have been ruled an incomplete pass. Cameras everywhere yet no one saw it until after the Eagles had scored. A bank of cameras in the control booth and no one saw it until after the Eagles had scored and converted the PAT…hmmm!
