Thanks Palmerwind for clearing this up for me. I suppose in the end, most new multi valve/cyl engines are "interference" engines out of necessity. There's just not a lot of room up in the old combustion chamber anymore. In fact, a "safe" engine would be the rarity. Sounds like Infinity did the right thing with the new part design.
