New Walmart 24F battery -2 yr warranty

WHY??? How come everytime I buy a battery I go to the auto parts store and spend a ton more on a battery. These everstarts are actually pretty good, especially for the price.

I think AAP and AZ are expensive. Went to buy some DEF as Lowes was out of stock. Several dollars more than Lowes. Walked out. Went to Walmart.

They have their overhead, to maintain a physical store that only sells auto parts.

I'd venture to say that WM sells more batteries than any of the auto parts store chains too. The closest WM to me probably has 150+ batteries in their rack, not to mention add'l ones on pallets waiting to go in that rack. They are also nationwide and I can't say for certain, but are chains like Autozone, AAP, O'Reilly, etc 100% nationwide or is there some regional-ness to their footprint ?

Update 2 months later and no longer testing a new battery.

Been on the new upgraded BM 128CEC2 every day since April 25, the wife drove back from 6mi shopping trip + 14 hrs at rest no headlights on before measurement.
