New Version of Thunderbird Released

Thunderbird 2.0.0.12 released.

My favorite email program in both Linux and Windows.

When setting up multipliable POP accounts, take the check mark out of "Global" as you setup them up which keeps things separate.

With plugins, it supports web mail based accounts too.

Under Ubuntu 7.10, I still have 2.0.0.6. Booo.

I guess I could download the tar file but not sure how much of a hack that would be.

The following web site will give you the info you need to update Ubuntu 7.10 2.0.0.6 to the latest version of both Firefox and Thunderbird.

I run the Gnome version of Linux Mint which is based on Ubuntu 7.10 and it works fine.

Have also used it for upgrading Ubuntu 7.10 on another computer.

Yes, I did too - although I didn't recognize any of the updates as Tbrid related. But it now displays 2.0.0.12.
