At 35 years old I purchased my first truck. Nothing fancy or “cool” but exactly what I need as a home owner. 2022 Chevy Colorado LT 2.5 rwd. I absolutely love this thing!

Nice. I’ve been wanting a small truck as well but was thinking about a Maverick. Do you mind sharing what you paid relative to MSRP?
With the options it came out to $32,690. I got $1,250 in rebates. So $31,440 before trade in. I traded my long paid off 2013 (bought new) CRV with 121k miles on it and they gave me $10k. They did not do any dealer markups.

Beautiful truck. I’m a low option guy too. Heated seats might be nice in your locale. When I was in MD, a buddy of mine in a 2wd Tacoma would put a couple hundred pounds of mulch in his bed when it got cold. Rain and ice would settle in it and raise the weight a bit more. That gave him all the winter traction he needed, and in the spring he’d put the mulch in his lawn. 2wd did him just fine.
