The German Castrol 0w-30 is readily available around the Phoenix area Autozones. I'd use it if it is on sale, or else I'd just go with the M1.

As i am on my second 4.7 liter Durango i say go with the Mobil1 T&SUV 5w-40. I have been using this oil in my 2K3 Durango and love it. I will be using this oil from now on. It is easy to find and great for 5000 mile OCI's. Enjoy that new D.

We just purchased a used 2004 Dodge Durango with the 4.7L V8. The vehicle has 10k miles on it, and has a service history with 5W-30 dino. I plan to use synthetic oil. I have three questions...#1 what oils commonly available besides Redline have a high ester content, and #2 if any of you owned it would you pour in some ARx treatment before the next oil change or would you just pour in a high % ester synthetic and let the oil clean the negligible (if any) deposits left w/ dino? Or #3 am I just splitting hairs and wasting my time thinking about this; just pour some oil in and drive it!
