New (to me) Mustang

Hi, I just purchased a very clean 2004 Mustang GT 5 speed. The car has extremely low miles and the dealer provided the first oil change. I'm sure I will stick with Motorcraft 5w20 and Motorcraft filters. I will do a UOA after the car hits 10K and post results.

Its the crimson red 40th Anniversary model with gold racing stripes and tan leather interior.

FYI - This guy here said he switched to 5W-30 and says his Mustang likes it better.

I really, really, like 5W-20 for cold startups. Congrats on the new ride!

You should do great with MC 5W-20 and MC filters...excellent products by most accounts here.

BTW, less than 10K miles on an '04? That's very low mileage indeed! Good find, and enjoy your ride!
