Wife’s 14 Navigator L needs new tires - 275/55-20. Looking for recommendations on all season. Also to be considered, she’s starting to think about trading it off but it’ll be 2-3 years before we can afford to buy it.

One thing I've noticed when looking at used vehicles is that people that put Michelin tires on their vehicle tend to take better care of it.
I'd go for Cooper Pro Control if I wanted to save a little money or Michelin LTX M/S2 if I wanted something proven and well reviewed.

If you are gonna sell / trade it in a couple of years, then get any brand name on sale as it’ll last at least the next 2-4 years for you and your wife. If I was buying today, id probably get Bridgestone Alenzas $185ea from Walmart. They are very good and quiet

Michelin LTX M/S2
I run size 275/55/20
I'm currently on my 6th set with 400k+ miles on my 2011 Ford Expedition
Easy Decision
Those are $277 per tire before taxes and other fees. They are the same tires that came on my F-150. Sure, they are good tires. However, I'm not going to spend that much money on another set.
Continental Terrain Contact are around $32 a tire cheaper than the Michelin.
Other options: Firestone Destination LE3, Cooper Pro Control, Cooper Endeavor Plus, General Grabber HT, Falken Wildpeak HT02.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Just for reference, I won’t go to Walmart for tires (or anything else).

A couple of those Walmart listings may not work on your Navigator. I would check your door placard. I believe it specifies 113H tires. I wouldn't go below the 113H. You can go up to a 117H.
