I think the Pennzoil Full Synthetic is an interesting addition. It’s a good choice for vehicles that don’t need the Dexos spec. Argue all you want, but it’s odd for example, a Honda owner to pay a GM royalty fee on motor oil because it has the Dexos spec. I understand Dexos is a higher level of performance, but it doesn’t change the fact it’s weird for “everyone” becoming GM’s customer.

Second thing is I’ve come across countless numbers of people that are put off by “made from natural gas” motor oils. Either they don’t understand the product, or they think its an inferior product. Me personally I have noticed oil consumption with Pennzoil PurePlus oils. I think Pennzoil Full Synthetic makes more sense than PUP.

Lol, why are you shocked? You literally said this just a day or two ago.

we are witnessing the rise of the Group II+/GIII blend. some of y’all will be dragged kicking and screaming into this new era of affordable high performance motor oils
i’m not actually shocked

this is great news though. magnatec 5w40 a3/b4 will probably follow soon

Not sure about the VII levels in these Euro oils for DI engines and intake valve deposits - will be sticking to the QSUD 5W30 and Valvoline Advanced 5W30 synthetic oils for that reason . *Lastly , why does PP 5W30 have a cSt @ 100 C. of 9.8 (pretty thin for a 5W30 ?)

I thought the black label Pennzoil FS was an exclusive to Autozone
I guess not. All these oils are for sale at my local WMart. Today was the first time I've seen them.

The pics with the prices are from the price check barcode tablets found in certain isles, affixed to pillars.
