I have seen the oil comparison chart on the Pennzoil website, and it says this oil is not made from natural gas.
Is it a group 3 severely hydrotreated base?
It's selling about $10.00 cheaper per 5L jug than the ultra platinum.
Is it for people who want something better than conventional oil but cheaper than the platinum series?

Do you think it’s the same as QS full synthetic? Re-bottled. But as you said equivalent to super tech. It’s somewhat disappointing super tech and even Kirkland signature full synthetic is underrated they’re very good oils.

GTL based stock is also a Group III hydrocracked product.

The difference is super tech is mostly re-refined base stock. Still a good budget oil nonetheless

For a budget offer I don’t see any issue with being mostly re-refined.

Absolutely correct . However I feel supertech should be a bigger price gap between it and the majors. My opinion.

At this point what oil isn't considered good if Walmart and Costco oil is considered good? Is there any full synthetic that isn't up to standards?

I’m now seeing the lower priced Pennzoil at convenience stores - hopefully more will grab it and not that sleazy oil that should not exist …

The Pennzoil Full Synthetic has shown up at Canadian Tire and is API SQ. The version in Canada is in a 5 liter container and is made in Canada. It’s about $10 cheaper than Platinum. This might be a reaction against oil heading to $50 ($35 USD) per jug. Consumers might take them up on their 16,000 km ( 10,000 miles) per OCI recommendation.
