New notebook IBM Thinkpad R61i

I'm looking for a new notebook and found this IBM notebook at

any comments? It has XP Pro as the O.S. not VISTA

i have a lenovo R60 and it's just great (win XP Pro)

The only one thing I'd hold against it is the integrated graphics card, but at this price, I guess you can't ask for everything.

I'm going to go for this. Not too many options out there since I elected to stay with XP. This IBM R61i seems to be packaged decently for the price, although when you look there is a number of different VISTA options out there for a couple of $$ less.

Got it last weekend. I've been playing with it the past week. It's my first notebook, has XP Pro as the OS. Lenovo brand instead of IBM - I guess IBM is out of the PC market. I guess I'm happy with it, since I've always used desktops before. Pricewise, I picked up up for about $780, rebated $65 from Office Depot, $130 from Lenovo, and $15 off at the register.

Smart to go with XP IMO. You could always upgrade some day in the distant future when MS fixes all the problems.
