Actually, the engine from Australia is just the good 'ol 5.4L with some 32V heads. The heads are based on those from the Lincoln Navigator.

That engine was inspired by the 2000 Cobra-R's 5.4L, which made "385HP" according to Ford, yet was able to replicate that number to the tires

Actual power output was ~425HP, which is on par with what the Aussie version makes.

I wonder how this engine would compare to the proven toughness of the mod. 4.6L in the long run....
