Has anyone been able to obtain the manufactures specifications for the new 5000, 7500 and Mobil 1 TS oils. The old mobil site listed what manufactures spects it ment and the usual msds information. So far I'm unable to obtain this info. Ed

The product data sheets on Mobils site are still the old GF3 SL ratings for M1. They haven't released the new ones yet. The new ones for M1, M1EP and the 5000,7500 where supposed to be released in February.At least that's what Mobil said in an email they sent me when I requested it.
I called Mobil today to see if they new anything regarding the PDS availability. I hit option 1 and spoke with Matt. He said the 21st of March they should be available but said look for it sometime the end of the month.
He went on to say they are working very hard trying to make the Mobil 1 EP GF-4 compliant as that article said that I posted in another thread.
He said they tested over 100,000 miles with the Mobil 1 EP oil and that all previous Mobil 1's have always passed a 25,000/1 year test. GF-4 obviously has thrown a road block into the formulation process now but they are working on it.
Amsoil said they too will have a seperate line of GF-4 oils and not all one line...we'll see about that.
