New mobil 1 ILSAC GF-6A 20k mile rating (previously 15k)

Hi all,

I just bought a bottle of Mobil 1 extended performance high mileage. The jug with ILSAC GF-6A said guaranteed to 20k miles. The old jug that I had ILSAC GF-5 had a statement only to 15k miles. Just found that increase interesting, perhaps the ILSAC GF-6A oils are a bit stronger.

Mobil 1 AP 5w-30--what happened? Can't find any.

I am unable to find any M1 AP 5w-30 in the stores. Especially in the 5 Quart bottle. I am able to find it on the internet--but only at high price. Has it be discontinued? Anyone knows of a retailer that offers it at a reasonable price?

There is a lot to like about these new GF6 oils. Improved timing chain wear is just one. The M1 EP is a good choice.

^Thx. Currently I've been running M1 EP HM 5W-30 flavor in my 2.7 ecoboost F150 from its first oil change onwards.
