Turned up at work Friday, and saw this...recognized the numberplate immediately, guy I've worked with for 29 years.. Advantage of a good job, and supportive wife, eh ?

Am going to get a tour soon, but I really like it on the outside

For the same reason we don't get the VW Amarok: The Chicken Tax

How does the Honda Ridgeline competes against the utes? Granted, down under it'd have to have a diesel and it would have competition--but otherwise, it's a light(er) duty truck based on a car platform.

Maybe I'm wrong but I'm think the reason we don't get utes is because they don't sell, and haven't sold in the past either (VW's little truck, Rampage, Brat, Baja, probably something else too). Gas is cheap and so are full sized trucks.

Still a neat ute and what's the difference between that and a crew cab midsize with the little bed??

The 4 door ute has replaced the family sedan in Oz...it was the demise of the Commodore and Falcon.

It's been my go to model for 17 years...albeit Nissan and Holden.
