New lakespeed test!!! Havoline 10W-30 Conventional VS Supertech 10W-30 Full Synthetic

That's alot of enthusiasm with the exclamation points OP. LSJ is all over the map switching topics and random side notes that it takes a flowchart to keep track of what he is saying. What was presented could have taken 5 mins vs 31. He needs an editor.

There was some neat info in the video, seeing the oxidation stability difference between the three 10W-30 oils (conventional, synthetic, racing) but yeah there was no need for it to be 30+ min long.

For the TLDW crowd the PDSC oxidation stability values (VOA, 0 hr, 1 hr, 2 hr on dyno)
- Havoline: 45.77, 45.33, 41.37, 40.5
- SuperTech: 71.39, 69.72, 66.22, 63.01
- VR1 Syn: 62.66, 56.79, 46.13, 47.27

It’s who pays him gets the positive spin…
Then I guess it was Warren since the cheap supertech seemed to do better than the havoline? I understand not being able to stand someone...I can't stand pictures or videos of myself (my wife doesn't understand) but I'm autistic as is almost everyone that regularly visits this forum and it's typical....if you don't like someone don't want them and don't comment on the videos?

He's making money on YT, that happens when one cannot make money doing their regular job. So, he became kinda 'influencer' :ROFLMAO:

I watched the whole Video; I wish there was a Cliff Notes Version. The Cliff Notes thing did not help me in High School.
It would have helped me here.

He has proven that a better oil does look better in the Wear Department via a UOA, whether that matters is debatable.

I couldn’t do the entire video. It is like watching an old Pee Wee Herman show….
So the basis of his claim is measured piston ring material?
Wouldn’t the last oil tested have the least material?
So he claims that it’s better oil?

I listem
You guys have 31 minutes to watch the whole thing?

Wow.

Please, just a quick summary.
I listen on my earphones while working. I sometimes get tired of listening to music. Whether people like it or not it's meant to be entertainment and there is information even if it's not 100%. I can tell based on the comments most people didn't actually watch or listen to the video. Comments because they don't like the guys voice. Like comments about Amsoil because people don't like the price.

Readers digest version? I just can't watch this. Just too much....
Supertech synthetic made slightly more power on the dyno (less friction, lower oil temp) vs Havoline conventional, though it wasn’t uniformly better across the pull. Valvoline VR1 synthetic did the best.

On the flip side super tech synthetic had significantly higher oxidation stability than conventional oil and VR1s oxidation stability degraded rapidly with use because it’s a racing oil and not designed for long term use.
