NEW LABEL for GC?

Was in two of my local Auto Zones today. Low and behold, I saw 0w-30 Castrol bottles with a new label on the front of them that said "European Formula"; red letters on a yellow background). And yes, on the back of the bottle it said "Made in Germany", and it had all of the same specs as my GC bottles purchased ages ago. These tow AZ's had the full array of Castrol products: AC (American Castrol), BC (Belgian Castrol 5w-40), and GC!!!! If I weren't so cheap I'd buy a digital camera an take a picture of the label! Anybody else seen these quart bottles?

aj, I think those are the 06 vintage, post-Katrina bottles...they DO show MB 229.5 in the specs, correct?

pscholte: I'll have to double check on the MB 229.5.

The new bottles that I have do have MB 229.5 listed in the specs.

M0534....and later all have the European Formula label on them at my local AZ.....I noticed the difference from the Green I have.
