Found this in the local classifieds for FREE. 1986 Sears branded (Sanyo) model C539-14426
13" Color set.

I appreciate how it seems to lack the sticker warning the buyer about the fake wood cabinet.

We get these stickers in the US due to some timber lobby worrying about losing sales somehow.
 
My folks gave thier's to my Brother when he moved off to college.
It was their first color TV, and they bought it in '74.

My Brother moved off to college in '98, and he had to trash/recycle it in '05 because the repair place couldn't find vacuum tubes for it.

Brings back memories!

Don't you like real wood better than fake?
 
Sure, but 13 inch TVs were marketed as "portable", some even sprouting handles up top.

Though big console TVs sometimes pulled off being disguised as furniture, and a part of the room, I don't think a 13 incher could do so.

Yes, we still have analog cable here where I live.. up to 13 channels.
