New CX-30 Turbo 2.5T Oil 5W-30

I have finally purchased a new car and retired the 2005 Scion tC! I'm looking for recommendations as I drive this in New England as a daily driver. Owners manual recommends 5W-30. I've always used M1 5W-30, but I believe there are many new choices available such as the Kirkland brand. I have never owned a turbo engine and I am most likely going to start to do 5k changes and do some UOA until I am comfortable with how my engine is wearing.

Suggestions welcome! Otherwise I might just keep it simple and stay with Mobil1.

Congrats on the new Mazda. That’s a great motor.

The M1 is a excellent choice. Pretty much any synthetic oil with the latest specs will run fine.
