I have posted videos from this guy before, very interesting stuff he comes up with and I know many of you will want to see this prototype.

The Detroit diesel 2 strokes used an oil slump and oil pump many decades ago
That was metioned in the video. However, there are differences between the DD and this engine. Might be worthwhie to watch this video if you've not already done so.

That is kind of like a detroit diesel with the poppet valves removed from the cylinder head. And instead a form of shut off valve is placed in a typical two stroke exhaust port. The idea that a two stroke exhaust port is somehow better, is wildly in error. As the piston rings have far less support, and wear increases markedly.

Did you watch the video?

Did you watch the video?
Sure did. It is a supercharged, port injected, two stroke engine. In the exhaust port, there is a rotating shut off valve, much like a hose ball valve. It traps some fuel air mixture as the piston goes up, in the space between the valve and the piston skirt. A space large enough to significantly alter efficiency, so I seriously dispute the BSFC numbers. HP is another matter entirely.
