Neutra 131 is highly odoriferous, though pleasant smelling. But rather than smell it on the drive to the filling station, can the 131 be put in after returning from the filling station or would it affect the filler neck hose (vs the hose being washed off by the fuel if installed at the pumps)?
Alternately, if I have 3 or 4 gallons gas left in the tank, can I put say 16 oz Neutra 131 in and drive to the filling station or will that represent an overdose that may make it sputter and pop?
The dosage for 131 is much higher than 131c and for other fuel system cleaner/treatment products. Am I correct that a dosage of 1 ounce per gallon is appropriate for continuous application?
Finally, due to the strong odor, I am NOT keeping this stuff in the house. How does it fare in the garage with zero F temps and 90 F summer temps? And what is the shelf life?
