Hello

I noticed each of the steel wheels on my 2021 RAV4 has a neon yellow / green "Peel Here" sticker.

What are these for?

That's probably something related to balancing the wheels at the factory, you can just pull them off now.

It’s the “high” spot on the rim for match-balancing with the “low” spot of the tire. Like the yellow/red marks on a Japanese-made tire from Bridgestone/Sumitomo/Toyo/Yokohama.

Tires and wheels are mounted off site at a logistics supplier and supplied to the plant as sequenced JIT deliveries.

It's the wheel's low point of run out. it was supposed to be matched to the tire's high point for uniformity, which is sometimes marked with a red dot. It's supposed to give a "rounder" assembly, resulting in a smoother ride.

It has nothing to do with balance.
