need volt gauge for motorcycle handle bar

1984 honda goldwing, was having battery/charging problems. Got everything straightened out, looks like a light kit was exceeding alternator capacity at low rpms causing an already weak battery to die.
Would like to get a simple volt gauge, preferably digital, that can be mounted neatly on either the handle bar or on what little of a dash there is. It's just speedo and tach, 3" gauge faces, and small light bank with idiot lights in the center. Went looking online for simple small volt gauge but had no luck. Everything comes up as 2" round gauge, meant to be mounted into a dash, which in this case there is no room for.
Any ideas or know of a supplier of something specific like this?

There are some compact right angle brackets made to mount standard sized 2.062 dia gauges. The don't take up a lot more space than the gauge. Or is the diameter too big by itself?

There's also the option of buying a 2" round digital gauge, removing the circuit board and putting it in something else more suited for handlebar mounting.

Or..you could visit http://www.digikey.com and see what they have in the way of backlit (most are LCD so they'll need backlighting to see in the dark) digital panel meters.

you could do what I did for my Pacific coast ..hust insalled a cigarett lighter hole and then bought a gauge that pluges into it ..works great ...
