Need to get rid of some Mobil1

I've got some bottles of Mobil1 10w30 and 1/2 of 5w30 that I no longer need/use and that I want to get rid of. I told my dad he could have them for his 91 S-10. He's got 2qts. of 10w30 Mobil Drive Clean oil rated SJ in his garage. Anyone see any problem with using the 2qts Mobil dino SJ with 2qts Mobil1 SL rated 10w30 and 1/2qt of 5w30 for the next oil change?

He usually goes about 4500mi between oil changes which occurs about every 3 months, so this blend of Mobil dino and syn won't be seeing any kind of extended drain anyway.

I believe that mobile says you can mix all their oils. Give them an e-mail and see for sure. They'll be able to tell you better than we can.

It should be no problem. I used to mix Mobil 1 with Castrol GTX in my old Honda Civic from time to time. I never had a UOA done on that engine, but it had 216K miles on it and didn't burn any oil when I got rid of it.

Will work fine. I do it all the time, especially in the summer.
