Need short-term protection against a coolant leak

it's a roller motor,, and it'll be fine,thats one of the engines i ran before with a leak,and now it's got 200,000 miles,them 3100 are tuff.

just change out the oil with a HDEO

In an earlier post I mentioned adding the Barsleaks through the lower hose. The reason was to insure that it circulates and does not end up going directly into your overflow tank. I've used Barsleaks (both liquid and tablets) and it does work.

Indeed. Factory service manuals state to add the GM pellets to the lower rad hose.

I've used the Bars Leaks enough to know you can not just install it in a pressurized surge tank or even at the radiator. It'll just glob up and stay there. You have to drain the radiator and install it.
