Currently it has a PH-48 delco filter. It's no where to be found locally. At all.

A Purolator P12222 is equal to the PH-48.

I'm looking for a larger Purolator PureOne that will fit? how do I figure it out without having to buy 50 filters?

I think you mean PF48 ..a PH48 is a 3/4-16 thread filter

Purolator has no knowledge of your P12222 (assumed to be PL12222 of which they seem to only list L12222)

Why do you want a bigger filter?

How about a better one that filters better, flows better, retains more particles, and lasts longer?

I have always gone with a larger filter on all my vehicles.

The PF-47 goes to a PF-52. I use that on my wife's car. It's about 25% larger than the 47.

On the 2004 6.0 gmc I used a M1-206 / PureOne PL25288 to replace the PF-46?

On the 07 I'd like to find a larger PureOne/Mobil 1 that's equal to the PF-48.

From the post above with the thread at 3/4-16 . How would i go about finding this on the shelf at the local Autozone?

You're looking for a 22Mx1.5 thread. The difference between that and a 3/4-16 thread is the difference between PF48 (AC DELCO) and PH48 (FRAM)

Your longer Purolator is a L30238 ..and if they make one, the PureOne would be PL30238.
